The Hobby Room....
Where it'll all take place!
For the last 3 years I've been doing my level best to learn
watercolour-painting and despite countless hours, countless books and
countless money, I still can't paint very well, so I'm gonna give it a
rest for a while!
In the meantime, my new hobby means that I'll have to modify the
layout of my hobby-room. The lower shelf is full of art-magazines which
I intend putting on Ebay as a collection and the top shelf is full of
art-books which I want to keep.
With a good tidy up and careful thinking about utilising available
space, I reckon I'll have enough room to build the model. One thing that
I need to consider is the fact that my hobby-room is sometimes used by
other members of the family - mainly for access to the PC.
In addition to the room, I've also got a double-garage which is home
to a couple of motorbikes amongst other things. I've tidied up and
created a "clean" area on the worktop and have a drop-leaf table just
below it in case I need some extra space for sawing, sanding, painting
and varnishing.
As someone's already pointed out to me, the hobby-room is very
unlikely to stay looking so neat and tidy once I start the build :-)
